E-Dubbing

Dubbing (film, advertisement) is the process of recording or replacing voices for a motion picture

Voice Dubbing, or doing voice overs brings out one’s ability to play different voice roles from background first voice, dubbing for cartoon films, muppet or puppet animation or advertisements containing variations of voices The voice needs to be trained enough to modulate and variate.

Students will be introduced to the basics of dubbing and relevance in current media industry. They will also get to know the various equipment and software required. They will utilize their language skills to prepare scripts.

Students will learn the skills of dubbing a video clip with a written script. The scripts shall include multi-disciplinary integration e.g. with English Language, Mother Tongue,etc

Students will learn to have the command over their language. Moreover students will be exposed to the various speaking techniques with regards to pronunciation, diction, clarity, grammar and the diction.

As students learn the skills of Voice Dubbing , not only are they required to be fluent in the language but also versatile enough to match their inflection, lip sync, tone & pauses to synchronize with the gestures and body language of the character in the original soundtrack or visuals.
